Are you a registered BAS agent?

Yes. Brightbooks is a registered BAS agent, which means we are legally able to prepare and lodge your BAS and GST, and we are bound by a professional code of conduct. Your work is in qualified, accountable hands.

Do I have to use Xero?

We work best in Xero and are a certified Xero partner, so it is what we recommend and set up for most clients. If you are already on another system we are happy to talk it through and help you decide whether to move.

How do the fixed monthly fees work?

We agree one set monthly price up front based on your transaction volume and what you need. You pay the same amount each month with no hourly surprises, and we review it together if your business changes.

Can you help if I am badly behind?

Absolutely. Catch-up bookkeeping is one of the most common reasons people call us. Whether you are a few months or a few years behind, we will get the backlog sorted, bring you up to compliance and hand back books you can trust.

Do we need to meet in person?

Only if you would like to. We meet plenty of local clients face to face around Geelong and the Bellarine, but most of the work happens in the cloud, so we work with businesses remotely just as easily.

Is my information kept confidential?

Always. We are fully insured and treat your financial information with strict confidentiality. Everything stays secure in the cloud and is only ever accessed for your work.
